The Metrics application for IRM and Operational Sustainability Management helps you define metrics that other applications use to assess, compare, track, and report on performance. You can define qualitative and quantitative metrics, and then enter metric data manually or collect it automatically from the ServiceNow AI Platform on a recurring schedule.
Examples of metrics include the number of new hires, electricity consumption, employee donations, groundwater usage, and the amount of equipment resold or reused.
• Track organizational goals and targets.
• Collect and report data automatically or manually.
• Define aggregation and calculation logic for advanced use cases.
New
- Historical metric data is now available. Metric records now store historical values, enabling users to track changes and trends over time.
Changed
- Threshold ratings and breach status for metric data tasks now update automatically when threshold settings are modified. Pop-up confirmation dialogs appear when editing or deleting thresholds, informing users that ratings and breach status will be recalculated or cleared for associated data.
- Threshold rating and justification fields on metric data tasks now respond to threshold changes. When a threshold is deleted or breach monitoring is disabled, the justification field is hidden. Threshold ratings update correctly when metric data or override data is changed or saved.
The GRC: Profiles plugin is activated automatically with the GRC: Metrics application.
