Standalone Application
This application provides comprehensive content and tools for managing card disputes in accordance with Mastercard guidelines. It includes a structured questionnaire for intake of dispute-related information organized across various dispute categories as defined by Mastercard, while embedding auto-updated rules to streamline and optimize your disputes process.
- Provides a questionnaire for dispute intake as per Mastercard guidelines
- Runs chargeback eligibility rules based on the Mastercard Chargeback Guide
- New
- Added a fraud chargeback count (before authorization date) as a new ineligibility condition for Mastercard Chip Liability Shift rules RC 4870 and RC 4871, so disputes with two or more prior fraud chargebacks on the same sold product are automatically declined.
- Changed
- Updated the RC 4871 Chip Liability Shift rule so that a chargeback is ineligible when it was NOT raised within 3 days of the fraud report (correcting a logic inversion), and requires a fraud report reference to be present.
- Updated the decline reason message for RC 4871 and RC 4870 to include the "fraud" qualifier, aligning with the Mastercard guide Q3 2026 wording.
- Updated the RC 4853 decision table condition and reason message for the MCC and voucher condition.
- Fixed
- Mastercard chargeback-eligibility subflows (RC 4808, RC 4837, RC 4849, RC 4870, RC 4871) now execute in the requesting user's security context instead of as the System user, resolving a permissions issue that allowed bypassing ACL checks during eligibility evaluation.
- Corrected a broken function reference in the RC 4870 and RC 4871 Chip Liability Shift subflows where the fraud chargeback count script was calling a renamed function, causing the calculation to fail.
