The Voice Controls Simulator tool enables CCaaS partners and customers to simulate and test voice control workflows in the CSM Configurable Workspace, without requiring a live telephony connection.
The Voice Controls Simulator tool offers several key features to simulate and test voice control UI flows within the CSM Configurable Workspace. These features can be summarized as follows:
- Launch and Configure
- Launch UI page using the "Launch Test Tool" button
- Configure the phone directory in the Idle State Config page
- Call Simulation and Controls
- Create an Outbound interaction using the "Dial" button
- Simulate an Active call context with call controls
- Transfer Flows and Participant Management
- Initiate transfer flows using the "Consult" and "Blind" options
- Edit and remove transfer list items
- Requires participant entry to enable the "Submit" button
- User Experience and Plugin Details
- Displays a "Getting Started" information pop-up
- Clear context and reset the UI on refresh or logout
- Show a warning on Test Tool tab closure
- Support Workspace configuration via a provider application property
- Package the Plugin with specified metadata
- Migrate artifacts from the ICC plugin

- Accessibility improvements for More Actions menu definition to improve accessibility compliance.
- Fixed screen reader notifications when deleting rows.
- Improved accessibility labeling for the Voice Controls Simulator dialog close button.
